The Hauntings of Livingstone Hall

Picture

There is absolutely NO truth to the rumour that Livingstone Hall is the most haunted house in England.
****
Reports of ghostly music playing in the dead of night, apparitions drifting along the tower parapet, a mischievous child ghost stealing keys and an old butler lurking in the shadows . . . they can't all be rumours.
Built on the grounds of an old Roman ruin, Livingstone Hall Country House Hotel and Spa has a long history of unexplained and tragic death. Paranormal investigators from all over the world have been perplexed by the hauntings with numerous ghost sightings felt, heard and often seen by guests.

Delve into this collection of ghostly short reads and find out more about Livingstone Hall's chilling past.

How The Hauntings of Livingstone Hall came about...

We are a writing group called ‘The Saturday Ladies’ Bridge Club’. Why? Because we always meet on Saturdays, we’re all ladies and some of us live this side of the bridge and some of us that, so someone always has to drive across the bridge to get to our meetings.
We live in Melbourne, Australia and 'the bridge' is a big deal here. We're a city divided by a river and .. a bridge.
So our name is an ‘in’ joke, but we love it, even if we do have to always explain it.
The idea for a ghost anthology came about during our end-of-year meeting, which was over lunch with lots of wine. Two of us were writing romances that featured ghosts or ghost hunters, and one of us is a ghost tour guide. We sensed something of a theme.
Friendly peer pressure saw us playing around with the idea of short stories, all involving ghosts and all set in a fictional country house in the rolling green hills of England.
One glass of wine lead to another and now here we are.
We hope you enjoy your break at Livingstone Hall and  meeting our ghosts. We certainly enjoyed writing their stories for you.
Please rate your stay by leaving a review on your book-buying website of choice.
Be warned: we are already contemplating our next anthology!
